Forgotten, silent place
Forbidding is my tomb
Nary a sound to interrupt
My wearisome existence

Dust motes slowly turning
In golden rays of sun
Honeyed light deters the night
Alas! The day toils onward

Behind is left the gloom and dark
The silence is oppressive
Heavy blackness piercing
Eyes too blind to see

Laid to rest in velvet splendor
My robes, tattered and torn
'twould take but a touch so gentle
To crumble and fall to dust

Would someone light a candle
Bring back the golden light

Are you out of your cottonpicking mind?!?!?!?!?! Why on God's green earth would he go and do something like that after all the bad horror flicks that are out there? Why, he would've been eaten by the creature in the casket and disappeared, and we'd end up seeing him on a late night movie someday, after spending years wondering where he went. =8-o

Most facilities ask for your religion in case you die and they need to know what sort of clergy to call for the service so they don't do anything "wrong" before the family gets there. However, I have seen many places where they put "None" if the family hasn't marked a preference. Then the person usually gets a generic Christian-type service from the local padre (unless they are in an area where a specific religion predominates - Catholic, Jewish, Islamic, etc.).

I always become irate when they blame stuff like this on Satan worship. That's a load, and they know it. It was probably WalMart worship, more likely; a far more widespread and insidious form of worshipping the "dark side". >:-(
