THAT is SO beautiful!
Looks like golden sunlight with clouds drifting by.

It looked like one of the oldest ones, although some didn't seem to have any plaques, and the ones up top were difficult to see...
So, they did use cloth!
That's really different!

Thanks Bruce, any memories of these places are greatly appreciated on this site!
You wonder what kind of life this person led.

Well i would loot this. Why? It would look amazing in a museum. Imagine the history that could be recovered from these ships before the sea reclaims them!

Sad end to a beautiful beast.

Seems very dangerous. It's not like on land where you can think yourself out of a collapse/failure situation. Something goes wrong on one of those boats and you my friend, are fucked.
Motts~You had pointed out the fact that the cript had a 3 leaf clover design for a window..
This crown also bears leaves with 3 leaves to some of them.
I wonder if that why the window is that shape?
THIS has also been one of my favorite pics ever since Motts had those teaser pics of his trip put up on his main page!
I would have been so tempted to try this on.

Thats some valueable history in there... imagine all the answers that could lie in that pile.
Looking at it more...is it made out of wood or cloth? The damage to it almost looks like decaying rippled and ripped fabric.

I remember a story when some people went into a chernobal hospital (sorry, killed the spelling) and they extracted cesium from an xray machine. Yeah they did die if you wanted to know.
