I worked for a Sewer and Storm Pipe inspection company and I worked in Pilgrim State numerous times in a 3 year span. I have been in most of the abandoned out buildings and I've also been in Pilgrims extensive sewer system underneath it and I never experienced any paranormal activity or anything out of the norm. The only thing I've seen there was rats, bats and roaches the size of ash trays and the occasional crazy person but no ghosts. This was back in the late '90's
DW,would you feel better if the racoon was box trained, and held up the welcome flag when you enterd the room. P.S. they are wild animals. they not know what a toliet is nor do they welcome visitors.
well if the guy is running to the roof to "escape" im sure he isnt tryign to "escape" by conventional means..i think hes contemplated death is the only option of "escape" and well down is his escape but thats jsut my way of seeing it.. but the veiw is amazing along with the good Structural art true nothigns made that way anymore...and its true we only make square edged boxes nowadays but...its cost effective and easier to build ..if you want a hhouse with Structural bueaty...your gunna need to buy th eland and a contractor and agood set of carpentors etc etc...
hmmm id have o say theres traces of many subsistent liquids of embalming and stuff in that water probably Fermaldehide traces of any other Corerner fluids blood no bovut thats ages old from being caked to th emetal and washed off by many heavy rains along with rust but the entirety of the event of brownish bloody colored water sloshing out at you upon rolling out the morgue bed is soemwhat freeaky and the stairs you ppl depicted that was next to the morgue going downwards even more..id hate to see what lies down there ...and another note..a Morgue under a cafeteria..isnt that a bit of a coincidence..id say they fed them human for there lunchs...instead of bothering witrh burial.. "hey lets jsut chop these bodys up and say its beef" mmm beef..nobody would be the wiser
You sure that isnt OY ? Looking at it now, it almost looks like oy in the middle. It had to have been a learning tool, for reading, spelling, phonics, or just plain communicating.
Did u see any playing boards at all?
I tried to look up the history of scrabble, but no mention of EE or OO or OU.......Maybe it was that particular place's addition to the normal game.
I would luv a box of asst. ones, omg, make a tributary mosiac out of them, oh what a thing to look at and mull over at all the hands that must have touched them. Wonder if fingerprint powder might pick up some, LOL, just fer giggles :D
well if that was a set of works for some junkie, then the can of pepsi or whatever it is would make sense. and the knife. They would need the bottom of the alumminum can to cook up the dope and they probably used the knife to cut the bottom of the can. and once a junkie gets off trust me that u wouldn't have too much to worry about. Most cannot even stand up straight. They would b drooling all over themselves.
Doesn't anyone find it repulsive that the states running these hospitals couldn't afford some back up generators to run the iron lung respirators in the event of a power outage? It is not like we are talking about food spoiling in a refrigerator or going without heat for a few hours, there were peoples lives at stake. I cannot even imagine what Martha and the rest of the patients were going through during a power outage, but sheer terror is all that is running through my brain at this instant. I am just sorry they had to go through this nightmare. This is just another example of our government is screwed up!
Thank you Henry, Martha, Lynne, and all the others for sharing your life experiences and photos with us. Without your help these photos would have just left a lot of unanswered questions and untruths floating around in cyberspace.
It would be nice if more patients and staff of these facilities would comment about their experiences also .
Thanks also have to go out to Mr. Motts for setting up this site and for all of the work it takes to populate it with all of these superb images.
