I bet this place was a real sight to see in it's original beauty. So sad that the patients didn't get the right to have some sort of recreation. It probably didn't help their illnesses. :o(

get a ggod disinfectant, put it in a spray bottle. spray the tub generously & scrub with a toilet brush ( used only for this of course), then rinse in hot water. if needed fill the tub & soak in a cleaning solution, chair submerged to ensure the underside gets sanitized. these are great tubs to use once your familiar with them. in these tubs the chair 's seatbelt goes between the legs & around the waist - think of a car seat style. I personally prefer this over giving a shower to someone . less stress on your back & shoulders. I do love this tub.

I actually went into the Bennett about 2 years ago. I made it all the way to the top floor. We heard a lot of noises. I actually have a picture of something really strange looking back at me in the mirror. I have lots of pics. It's so sad because the building is amazing. I actually heard that they were going to demolish it, but they have to cover it because of all the chemicals. It's such a shame.. but I'll tell you first hand. It's definitely haunted. and I would never enter that place again!!!

That property would have made a great library. Shame it wasn't taken care of properly.

I went there today with my sister, We went into the newer looking part. Creeping as heck, we were hearing this sound coming from the bottom of the building. We thought it might be the police. But I think it was something else. This place is very creepy. I wanted to go into the older looking building, but when we found the way to get into it from the auditorium the floor was broken and it looked like it had fallen down. So we ended up not getting into the older part. Don't do that you might fall through the floor.

Yea, it is an awesome pic, but I would love to go on an expedition to some of the haunted sites!!!
