Better late than never, but as for those radiators, could they have been hot water and not steam? The grammar school I went to had radiators all over the place that I believe was a hot water system.

I wonder if it still works.

It is odd that a cross would be found at a Jewish resort. Maybe whoever smashed the window added it sometime after the resort shut down.

God, looking at this room makes my heart sink. The senseless graffiti is just ridiculous. I love that old tile and you can't even make out the originality of the room. Just sad.

That is where I spent so many happy days. We used to do our arts and crafts in there, then have milk and cookie time on the porch. My name and my sister's name were written all over the walls on the inside, with the years we were there. It is all gone now. All that remains is silence and crickets.
