I love to play the piano. It is a Shame the whole building is gone.

Scary, I beleive they were going to film a movie here. I read recently that Martin Scorcesse was hoping to set a film with DiCaprio and others at this location. But, since the building is getting the axe (regrettably) Martin and company couldn't film there. Shame

When all this is gone, only your photographs will be around on the internet to remind us of this buildings magnificence and splendor. This photo is truly a piece of history in and of itself. Thank-you.

The building (and photo) are simply amazing, beautiful. Words cannot describe my anger that this complex is being torn down. At least the facade of the clock tower will remain to overlook the city.

Not only do they lie about zeroing it out but they put their big toe on it when you aren't looking. And believe me, my nurse has one heavy toe.......

I have a theory that ugly drapes such as these schmattes, along with cockroaches and rats, will survive even a nuclear holocaust. You just can't destroy the darn things!

Lynne, thanks so much for the link to the original cool light/soap disp. I am guessing Mr.Motts changed his original description after all the ribbing, but you can still "get" what was so funny-Funny Stuff and now I will appreciate the light/soap dispensers more!

this is one of my favorite photos, along with the wheelchair. This makes me want to write.. reminds me of the image you get from an old story that's passed on from generation to generation.

One of the scariest photos I think I have ever seen........

This image is so sad, yet so interesting, cause we dont see something like this too often, most of the time a building is way too far gone after a fire, but here you were able to capture the interesting coloring and textures and patterns left behind by fire, it really is an A+ photo! Its just so wonderful! and full of fantastic things too look at!
