Ive been In this room before i almost died as soon i enter i felt a sudden burst of cold air.i pissed my pants and i saw a ghost and ran.u should never go to this room for more than 5 minutes u will regret It!

I live around this area and I visited this place. I got permission to take some pictures and I got followed by a patient from the new hospital..he said he liked my pants haha :)

I think the hole in the cone shape at the end was probably for the nozzle to spray fuel oil atomized with air. The cone shape itself for a spriral effect for better air/fuel mixture. The lower shaft for the cooler air inlet and the upper one for the outlet or chimney.

I could be wrong but this is kinda my field. Great work. You should put out a video collage of the places you've been and have yet to go. I'd watch it.

They look like plastic seat cushions.

I added an exterior and interior photo of Hooper Hall, which was the mirror image of the rotunda in this photo (not sure what the name of this one was). The photos were taken some time prior to 1887.

It was an empty round room with a pole in the center by the time it was abandoned.
