I agree with what someone posted above, the abandoned house of mirrors plus the balls that are littered about the floor give me the feeling like something just not quite right is lurking in the corner. Like a murderous clown.

Years after the fact and obviously shunning the graffiti comments, I did want to comment that the placement of the candle is awesome. I just dig it: the picture, the ambiance, everything. Too bad this place is no more! :-(

I agree with Mary. I would guess that much of the mystery, fear and negativity surrounding places like this and also sanitariums and asylums was due to people not understanding the diseases or illnesses these patients lived with.

I'd love to see the inside of some of those buildings. But as someone else stated, the thought of being charged with trespassing makes me wary. Though I still am tempted...I'll have to see if I know anyone who knows how to get in.
