True Joe! They claim Hellnigly hospital has no use any more, by building new houses would increase the wealth of the town. No chance this building I think is the only wealth in the town, it is part of our history.
It would be more beneficial if it they restored some of it, allowing it to be safe for people to explore the site (as an exhibition) it would be ideal! Anyway that is my opinion!

i am looking at these pics and just cant remember the hispital looking like this. i have a different pic in my head when i worked there. i left in 1971. the front doesnt look the same and i certaintly dont remember the terrace. help me.
