Are you the same security who let the local chavs burn you out not so long ago ? that place will never get restored, bovis homes wanna build their cheap shit houses on the site.

this totally just reminded me... i think my Sister wore leg braces. I was very young when she wore them (she was a year and a half older than me!) But i distinctly remember her wearing them...

many commens by viewers are about the tormented souls that still lurk around the spacious campus, and yet noone makes it their responsibility to help these people move on. If anyone may be interested in helping any lost souls that might be trapped in this horrid place please feel free to contact me--

Connie, Im not sure if your uncle was a patient or a worker but either way the story should be told. No one is trying trying to personally attack you or your family, we just are interested in the facts. If you care to share, feel free, if not, just don't comment.
I would love to be able to visit Pennhurst. Im a local and have heard many stories of the place that make me worry of stepping foot on the premices. I don't want to be charged with trespassing from the police or being scared by homeless people. I am just very curious and would love a first hand view. If anyone could ease my worries that would be wonderful.

Those poor horses have hooves, and can't possibly open it! (sigh) What asses, whoever designed those doors!

Yeah, Eric I know. and it is sad that rooms of this design also were used for people,
without a way to get out. I was only making an observation with my above post, not being
inconsiderate of the poor patients that had to stay in this room for extended amounts of time.

i'm amused by the fact that he's trying very hard to not touch anything if he doesn't need to- the hovering crouch, the crossed arms...

Gorgeous... soothing and serene.

Fantastic... the plant life literally bursting into the building and cascading in. Can't keep nature out.

In a few dozen years, I bet the entire room will be covered (if this place survives for that long).

I love the little glimpse of blue-green behind the wall decay at the bottom right.

I love the irony of the fully intact window leaning against the wall, on the ground... yet thanks to the reflection, you can still see the outside "through" it.

Amazing. So cold and desolate looking... yet it draws me in, morbidly.
