The Thingstätte was designed and supervised by the Nazi war machine, however the stones were formed and laid in place by forced labor under very terrible conditions. To see this construction in this terrible condition is a disgrace to all those laborers that died and disappeared during the war. No commemorative Plaque for all those that actually build this immense construction by hand one stone at a time is located at this site.

i know because i get paid to put bodies in the fridge so yeah if it was only one death per day why would that mortuary be so big? also on average 2 to 3 thousand people per year. also its a great place to keep beer during summer

i can't beleive that so many people were treated like if they had no worth and so messed up. i am reading the letter that mr. lou chapman wrote regarding his two day stay at this facility. i can't help but feel so abandoned and lonely. so imagine being there for years feeling that way. god bless all the lost souls in that place.
