Also one other comment. . . before where a persons ID was by their comment you could click on their name and be brought to a listing of all the comments by that person, a feature I enjoyed. Now the link seems to be over the date, which just brings you to that comment. Is this correct or can it be changed back? Thank you for a wonderful site and the many hours I spend here.

I worked for L&N for 38 years in Australia. I don't think this device is a board holder as printed circuit boards did not exist in this era. My guess it it is probably a mirror holder, a part of a light spot galvanometer.

Mr. Mott I love all your photos. I have such a facination with all these old buildings. It's a shame they are all in ruins, the beauty of what they once were is breathtaking.
