why are the legs so long?

I always remember a poster someone had up from wwll in the lab I worked in on my 1st job as a teenager. It depicted a clenched fist wearing a swastika ring and holding a maltese cross on a ribbon.
It stated : AWARD FOR CARELESS TALK

funny the word for "smokeless" (as in gunpowder) is: "rauchless "
learned that a long time ago buying carts for shotguns.

I used to cringe when the game " Ballbuster " was advertised on television in the early 60's.
" HEY KIDS :GET BALLBUSTER!"

brought tears to my eyes....SO much death. :(

I grew up in Belmont right down the street. Me and a friend went in last night with two flashlights after a 12pack of (IPA) India pale ale Wow what a creepy place we went to the third floor walked around looking at the isolation cells and the rooms what a sad place, On the way down we heard a door opening creeking sound got lost for a while found the exit and took off. Will never go back.
