Seriously, I can't be the only one who sees this...

It almost looks like it fell right through the floor, though apparently that's not the case.

Mr. Motts, have you even been present in a building when a floor collapsed or something came through a ceiling? I always imaging the deafening sound it must make when something gives way in a condemned building.

Ash, people with TB often lived in these hospitals for a very long time. They had all the comforts of home such as salons and exercise rooms. TB is very contagious, so they were essentially quarantined. In this way, the outside world was brought to them.

I'm embarrassed that it's taken me so long to find this website, but it's photos like this that make ME glad that I did and make YOU my hero.

I was a student at Bennett from 62 to 64, and I lived in one of the upper rooms which had two window seats, with three windows. We had 4 of us in that room and the bathtub above looks very much like the one we used. I want to thank you for showing me the photos of the College. I just happened upon this website as I had been looking for anything about the school, as I loved it and had many happy moments there. It breaks my heart that it looks as it does in the photos, because it was such a beautiful campus,with the old stone buildings with a lovely small country town. Many of us remember sitting in front of the television for the hours of the Kennedy Assasination and following, and we all particularly remember where we were when Presidient Kennedy died. Thank you for keeping all those memories alive, as I am sure by now the buildings are gone, forever.

In my opinion "phantom" commenting on this page is only trying to get a rise out of everyone, which he has accomplished. Obviously the person we are dealing with is not the real phantom because it seems the real one has far more respect for the property and its history. If this kid who claims to be "phantom" get his jollies from stealing a glass jar then he/she has bigger issues than just learning respect and dignity, sad but true...

I'm DYING to get in here for some photos and what not. Does anyone know if security is super tight? Or does anyone know who I would contact to maybe get in?

Emergency drugs in medical speak refers to drugs needed to treat a cardiac or respiratory arrest. They also contained meds to treat patients who exhibit severe alllergies. These are standard in areas that treat patients of all kinds. Atropine, Narcan, epi, Benadryl, lidocaine are examples of meds that would be in this location.

Was There...actually Christina Hill was aquitted upon appeal. You can't legally say she killed anyone. I wonder what became of her?

I do not believe that was the coal washing building. I believe it was built to searve as a loading station to load trucks for local delivery. I have been there many times and it was added after the breaker was built not sure what year. The conveyor took the coal from the loading site of the hopper cars and brought it to the gravity feed station for trucks.
