Those doors would be worth a fortune at a scrap yard today. Creepy but beautiful. I love old abandoned buildings.

It is such a horrible waste. I'm sure it was just too expensive to move it. Moving a piano is such a big production, and costly.

I wish it were possible to see a time lapse of the detirioration of these buildings.

During my marine science internship, we used a smaller-scale version to dry tissue samples in the histology lab. I cannot even begin to describe the smell that oozed into the room when we opened those doors. Enough to put even the worst compulsive eater off lunch.
