Is anyone planning on visiting gaebler one last time? I'm really interested in seeing it and hearing stories about it before it's too late.

@Charlie-I'm with you on that, pal. I would also love to live in the old section. In fact, I have always fancied it as my "castle". It's too bad that most of it was torn down.

they recently knocked alot of the buildings down and its a 50 and older community...looks very nice now compared to what it used to look like....they also used to have haunted houses at byberry until i guess that got shot down

Although the internal wiring of this device has advanced throughout the years, what is now used currently maintains much of that structure. What I wouldn't give to tag along sometime.

I would love to live in the old hospital section of Avalon Danvers! Let's hope the ghosts don't scare all the renters away. That would get the building with the old hospital facade torn down. :(

Motts I know you may not look at these comments much, but if you do. There's someone else with a site similar to yours who managed to photograph this building before renovations started. It seems it's only been in the last 9 years or so that graffiti has happened. I won't mention the name of the site but it's quite an obvious one, just google abandoned places. If you wanted to see the difference, or for anyone really. It's neat to see your photos and then his.
