Motts, do you by any chance use a 'vivid' filter/setting on your camera?
I ask because its the only way I've ever gotten results like this.

I think they should hurry though, I don't think that place will be standing for much longer.

I guess my intuition is still high.

One thing is for certain, for those of us that was there, we have a special bond that no one can ever take away from us.

Thank you Ms. Lamza for sharing with us a moment in time at this magnificent campus. November 22, 1963 is one of those moments in history where millions of people can simultaneously recall where they were. I remember that day very well. I can imagine all you girls gathered around the TV watching history unfold in black & white. It's something we more "seasoned" Americans can share.

The sky looks surreal!

That's perfect LucieLou. Teen aged girls in the Victorian era were probably as rebellious as any. There must have been thousands of stories that went on behind those windows and on those porches. I can imagine sitting out here on a warm June evening listening to the spring frogs & crickets in the darkness. I can see fireflies in the grass & trees. I can see the brown bats flying overhead chasing mosquitoes. And in the mist of it all, the voices & laughter of young women, alive with nervous energy. It must have been magnificent.

Yeah, thats really a shame. A shame that we can't really see the inside of it and a shame it couldn't be reused. Bummer.

It looks so much like a castle. It probably was better built than most buildings today. What a shame to tear it down really. Its sad it couldn't have been reused. It would've cost alot of $$ to fix it up though I'm sure. Since it looks like the roof was gone.(and whatever else) What a shame!! Thanks for the picture, Motts!!

Make that an Altar Boy!! The elementary school which has since been relocated was St Katherine of Sienna.
