but are you agree that American and England have different design for even a morgue? American made morgue's refrigerator, a doors for a slab/tray. But England made morgue's refrigerator, a doors for 3 untill 4 slabs/trays

The hole for the clock has the same mounting holes for a circular wall speaker, so although it would make sense for a clock to be there. Its far more likely a speaker may have been used with the PA system or even with the TV (exp if the tv was behind plate glass). Its possible though that it was a clock, but even universally synced clocks have only a small hole for the wiring/motor and the rest of the clock sits outside the wall. This is for ease of installation.

A thought just hit me, the "old man's face" looks like it could be a page from a magazine, book, or mabey the remains of a photograph. I do belive that ghosts do exist, but I have never seen a pic of a ghost where the face looked so sharp and lifelike. That's the only thing I can think of.

I can actually imagine children running up these stairs laughing; weird

a few friends and I are interested in ghost hunting this prison. Are there any 'no trespassing signs' ? Are people allowed to visit it , etc... ? Thanks.

I had an uncle who was an inpatient here. He did not, as far as I know, have any mental problems. He was deaf and dumb and nobody in the family could or would take care of him, so he ended up at Byberry! Never met or knew him; I was 6 or 7 when he was in there, this was the late forties, early fifties. My mother use to visit him and he would get real emotional. My mom was the only family member he would communicate with. All I really remember was that fact and that my mom was very depressed after she visited him. I was amazed at the size of the place.

Really like the photos and composition Motts. This building certainly has a different "feel" than the others do, but still neat to watch. It sort of instills the feeling of interest/wonderment about the past in me, as opposed to the horror/chills of the other buildings. I'm sure more knowledge would dispel beth feelings, but that is lost to history...

A brief pet peeve of mine though...The amount of radioactive material sitting around the US in places just like this constitutes a serious threat to national security. If simple photographers(no disrespect intended) or vandals can get in then so can terrorists, both foreign and domestic. This reality is the pink elephant of our national security that no one wants to address. It is far easier to create a "dirty bomb" with these leftover materials than to create an actual nuclear device.

Thank you for restricting information about specific locations, both in your posted info, and in the comments. (I know this isn't for the purpose of national security, but more so due to liability or so others don't get hurt. Thanks anyway though. :) )
