They have to do something with it!! a movie set would be great. I just bought a home on main and had no idea it was back there. with it being abondened I fear it's not safe for animal or man.

It's really a scary idea that indeed operation rooms, are often colored green...
And Surgians wear the same pale green.
Not that relaxing for a building where you gotta/ must relax and heal your mind if you ask me...
Maybe they did that for the opposite.
To make children even more scary, and active to work or something..

Claudia, I know the photos you refer to, I personally think they are legit as there are tons of recent Pripyat photos on the interweb now (I think the Russians now have a program to allow certain citizens to visit the city for a day). As for the folks living there, radiation levels are low enough in some spots that cancer/illness is not guaranteed, just a higher risk. As residual radiation can accumulate in certain spots due to wind or water drainage, the gov't felt safer making the whole area out of bounds rather than trying to find all the hot spots individually

She officially had six children with Goebbels: Helga (!!!!!!) (1932), Hildegard (1934), Helmut (1935),
Hedwig 1937), Holdine (1938) and Heidrun (1940).
They all died in 1945 poisoned by their
mother.

The Studebaker Building (also known as the USGS Center for Coastal and Watershed Studies)

is a historic site in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is located at 600 4th Street South. On July 5, 1985, it was

added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
Built in 1925, the Studebaker Building is historically significant for its association with the

Florida Land Boom of the 1920s and the relationship of the automobile industry and suburbanization.

The building symbolizes the importance of the Studebaker automobile within that industry in the

1920s, particularly the Peninsular Motor Company of southwest Florida, the fourth largest Studebaker

dealer in volume in the country by 1925.
When the building opened, the company was the fourth largest Studebaker dealer in the world.

The company employed 300 people, with 56 working in St. Petersburg's showroom. However, by 1926

the Peninsular Motor Company went bankrupt as a result of the collapse of the boom, and the

Studebaker Building was closed.
