How sad. This has been ripped apart and strewn around the floor now, assumably by scrappers or hooligans. I doubt it was salvageable etc., but it's still always depressing to see how little care or respect people have for things.

My grandmother was a resident there in the 1980's. She was an elderly black/indian woman named Lucille Williams. She passed away in 1988 or 89 while she was still in the hospital. I am trying to locate any information on her. My father has since passed and did not leave a lot of information on his mother. I am very interested in any information anyone has about belchertown state school, I've been taking pictures there and researching it for a while. think of all the misery that them people went threw and then they died in there on top of that, thats very sad to me

morgues scare me every sence i was younger

just think of all the stuff that has gone on behind those closed doors that nobody knos about its kinda sad but interesting
