hi folks, as of tonight there is no fence around halcyon hall

i don't think irene did much more than nature and gravity have all along

top floor dormers are beginning to cave in on most wings and gables,

there has been talk of somehow trying to maybe preserve some of
the foundation's stonework, after all

out of a preservation standpoint, but also because it makes for less actual demo, lol!....sorta makes sense.

Was this the first "small" fire? Or part of the larger blaze.

The contrast between the two buildings is mind-boggling. You can step out of the present into the past and vice versa.
