The beautiful, jewel-like aspect of many of the photographs in this series was especially appealing. And thank you, sir, for often taking the time to leave informative comments about the pics you take and the sites you visit. I LIKE having my curiosity assuaged. Excellent gallery.

This year in 2011,i ran across this site as i wuz studying morgues,is this building,referring to 7,still standing? And if it is,can you upload more recent pics Motts cuz u have done the most amazing job at capturing the remnants of this place

I don't care about the titles either way, I love the work! I would rather Motts spends his time producing these great shots. so if Mr Motts wants to and enjoys doing the work to hid the titles great, but it is the photos I come here for w/ or w/o titles.

Here's another food fact. It is 100% true:


I always associate my cousins' butts with pizza because every time we have a party and ate pizza, 1 of my cousins are almost always butt-naked (no pants, no diaper, and no underwear) downstairs. It happened 4 times already:


1992: I ate pizza and I was butt-naked

2005: my cousin ate pizza, went to restroom, and came down butt-
naked (he's almost 8 now)

August 18, 2010: my other cousin ate pizza, went to restroom, and came down butt-naked (she's almost 3 now)

September 15, 2011: my baby cousin (now 8 months old) was butt-naked downstairs (but he didn't eat any pizza)

I think there is like just a coupple original buildings left but that they are locked up SOOOOO good that you would need WAYYYY more than just an axe or sledge hammer to get into them. And ya i guess that there are a bunch of condo's there now. But there are like i said a coupple original buildings there but i wanna get in em soooooooo fuckin bad lol.

Thanks! I've heard a collapse in this building a few years ago - with all the narrow floorboards snapping in two, it sounded like hundreds of firecrackers going off... the noise resonated throughout the entire building. It was incredible.

irene did not affect the situation here all that much, really.

the independent is pretty behind the curve on the bennet
scenario. But I do not think they are a tool of the village government,
the way that the Millbrook Round Table was a mouthpiece for them

i like that the independent exists though, so i don't want to slam them

it WOULD be really great if they could actually deliver my
subscription, though. I only recieve about 1 out of 6 issues,
usually six weeks late

so, to me, their distribution OFFICIALLY SUCKS.

Anyway..there is still no fence around Halcyon Hall.
There are lawyers at work on both sides of this everyday, though.
At least someone is getting paid to do Something, eh?

contrary to the first comment, (i'm a few years late lol) but i kinda like the high ISO in this picture!
