Ha! Looks like a community bathroom. no wonder they had sunflowers painted on the window. they had something better to look at than each other. gag... ;)

Seriously though... this room seems to be a "throw all"room... kinda makes me think this was planned for destruction. Ya know - gathering all the crap (pardon the pun) into one location...

My grandmother died at Pilgrim State in the 1930s. It was a bit of a family mystery for years and eventually I was able to obtain her medical records from the facility. Seemed like a very sad place to be.

Does any one see the person moving to peer at the person taking a photo of it. it makes the hair stand up on your neck,

wow people's story's are incredible i am fascinated with old abandoned buildings and researching them. i believe all the horrible things that occured in their should be brought to light to give the victims justice. they were not crazy but were probably driven to have a tiny chemical imbalance in their brain by the horrible acts commited in places like this. architecture is beautiful though.

motts i would neva tell you were to go but i actually found your site from TRUE HAUNTINGS OF AMERICA website i was reading about the LADD SCHOOL there so i went deeper and found OPACITY..any way have you ever been to FT GAINES in MOBILE,AL or the JESSE LEE HOME FOR CHILDREN in SEWARD,ALASKA if you never been to TRUE HAUNTINGS OF AMERICA look it up u may find some places you have never been and are interested in going on your free time thats if your not worried about apparition...cuz ''supposbly'' majority of the places are haunted.

i been up for like 6 hours on this one site looking at all these historic buildings and ive been reading bout the pines for like a hour now i see that TOM TOM and T was big players up in there this website is so fucking amazing im just enjoying seeing all these abandoned buildings across the world and reading everybodies stories this site is damn near like facebook bringing old friends and new ones together....AMAZING WEBSITE
