My daughter had a dance recital there in 1980. Only a few patients were left. They rented out the stage to the dance school. Once it was a beautiful hospital and grounds, so I hear.

Im so obbsessed with this place. I've never been in it tho. Bummer :/

I love rooms that are in ruins that look out on fall folliage or a gray winter scene, even a sunny pleasant day. It's such a contrast.

Hey! I'm not THAT old! That fax machine I referred to dates to about 1979, I used one when I worked at a bank at that time. We had a mainframe the size of a room on a raised floor that had to be kept very cool or it would overheat. This was before PCs and the internet became popular although geeks like me had PCs that we either built or bought on time because we had to have one. Ahhh memories, I could go on forever about computers and technology. But I won't!
