Verden - back again - I love verden.
Three hinges on the doors.
Door on the floor - i like it.
Is it legal to go in there? Or do you need the towns permission or something along those lines?

Thanks Pablo, it's all natural lighting. I usually don't use any artificial lights unless it's simply too dark to photograph.
Wonder if Luis Santiago's family will ever see this?
Wow! We found the exact same items in the basements of Edgewood Hospital (of the Pilgrim State Complex) in New York back in the 1980s. The canned water was edible, as were the tinned biscuits. I'm mildly curious if these still were. I know, a strange thing to wonder about. LOL

Amazing........these people 'respect' their past. If this site were in the USA it would've been torn down years ago probably for a parking lot. Houston is notorious for this......they're about to destroy the Astrodome.

These tombstone photos are being used on current grave sites in Houston, Texas. Give one a more intimate visit with the reposed.

I agree Hank......it IS sad.......but, maybe a loved one pulled it up to have a final 'chat' with the deceased........or to find solace in sitting with them one more time.
Would love to take the tour as well. Good photos as usual.

If I were to guess I'd say this was in Florida where the heat and moisture would be overwhelming......or maybe some of the Gulf states. Too bad a local TV station couldn't have 'gotten word' of what had happened to this site. Or maybe Vlad the Impaler.

Ghouls have been raiding grave sites forever. Not even the pharaohs were exempt from them.

I was thinking that we'd find such a resting place for Howard Hughes in Houston.....but, no........just a well manicured plot with about 7 columns.
Would love to visit this place one day. Thanks for the tour.

I assume that 'The Phantom' wasn't in hiding when you got there.

If I remember correctly there were some British folks who paid a steep price for opening a 'casket' in Egypt.....I think that 'Tut' boy got even for having his tomb disturbed.
But, these pictures are great......enjoyed the tour.....would've loved to have been with you during the find.
