Fascinating picture. Thinking of the patients who may have stared at this view for hours on end.
Love the lamps!
Yes, thank you, Motts. This is yet another facet of your artistic ability. What a fantastic set. And the detailed descriptions and historical background of this place makes your viewer's experience that much more rich.
NICE!! This is a generator. There was most likely a steam turbine connected to this, which turned the generator, making electricity. Or maybe a large belt drove the wheel on the left. Yes, it looks like the copper windings have been removed.
My favorite subject - - the power plant!
I'm sorry to hear of your friend's passing, Motts. And Mama, our prayers are with you all.
Thanks for the new gallery, Motts! Your talent is much appreciated here.
Great perspective shot. Lots of yellow paint in this place!
Even the light bulbs are still intact
Incredible! The lighting is breathtaking, Motts!
Thank you for another journey through the past, Motts!
Wow! What an imposing image! Imagine the range of emotions of those who saw this view as they were entering the facility....the uncertainty...fear....
Love the keystones on the archways. The building looks to be in pretty good shape; what a waste!
Captivating angle! Great photo.
The lighting on the wooden door looks like it leads to another dimension.
Looks like asbestos tile..?
