Unfortunately Christine we may never know the truth as no one kept detailed journals back in the day nor any kind written record what so ever.All we have are suppositions and what we deduce ourselves.

I just looked at the picture blown up it could or couldn't be an apparition pic becomes to pixelated to tell.
