I've never been to Rocky Point, nor had I ever heard of it until Motts posted this gallery, but I still enjoyed the jingle. It had a warm and friendly sound to it, that made Rocky Point sound like fun.

Who's Jester, and what happened to him?

Whatever is in there is most likely stale by now. Shake it up, pop the top and examine. If it's bubbly and foamy and emitting a funky odor, do you still want to drink it? (LOL)

It's nothing to be afraid of. There's no longer any bodies in there, that could reach out and grab you...if there ever was.

Let us give thanks that we live in a country where we are allowed and afforded the freedom to enjoy the fruits of abandoned buildings, old dumps, and the wonderful photos given thereof.

About 30 years ago, I was digging up an old dump and found several empty bottles of 'Dodge Embalming Fluid'. I'm sure I brought one home for safe-keeping. (LOL)

Radical Ed, I don't think I've ever since in Northeast Philly. Only South Philly and Center City. Somewhere around here there is a picture of me posed against the 'LOVE' monument. A friend of mine knows the way to Byberry, and it sounded quite easy. Maybe others would be interested as well, and we could get a group together.

One dip of thee ol' finger per letter? (LOL)

I like this picture 'cause it's totally unique. I'm sure it dried up in a few days and just faded away.

Hey, maybe he belongs to a gang called 'The Poop Boys'. They tag with poopyink instead of spray paint.

Very hard to pick a single favorite, but since I've been through the Byberry photos three times, then I shall place my vote there.

There was several pages when I came online earlier. A lot of it was spam, and it's since been deleted.

For some unknown reason, I believe the abestos has to be removed before the building can be torn down.

You begin to know where you're welcome and where you're not. I also know of several forums and Yahoo groups that are so full of rules and regulations, you're afraid to say anything.

Here's where this becomes a dubble-edged sword. Some of the 'off topic' stuff is also some of the really funny stuff. Meaning that if I was left in charge of cleaning the site up, I wouldn't know what to do.

My original idea was to remove everything over two or three months old, but then newcomers would never read into the meaning of "Into the pit of oblivion" or "Have another turn". The way it sits now, they can read the comments, and find out what the picture is all about.

Thanks for the chatroom link. I bookmarked it.

Most of the 'off topic' conversation is stale after a few days and should be removed.
