That is some bold graffiti work hanging out of the upper windows...

Even paint and trash cannot hide the beauty of that entrance. Thanks for the new gallery.

The building is just waiting patiently until someone thinks of the next use. It's in no rush and has just gone dormant.

No danger of falling through. That wood floor is likely floated over reinforced concrete. It would be hard to build something more stable than this.

The side holes do look like potential sconce locations. The center item looks like a thermostat.

This looks like a heat exchanger of a water-tube or bent tube boiler. Tube Boilers are "called" by what is inside the tubes.
Being that this is a large power-plant it could also be a Superheater, which raised the heat content of some of the steam exiting the main boiler.
It could also be an economizer which would warm the returning steam from the building before it entered the boiler. All depends on where it is positioned in the flow of water/steam and boiler flame/exhaust.

That is beautiful workmanship.

The unbroken windows are a testament to the shear size of the place. There were literally more windows than people could break...

The volume of demolition debris here would be staggering.

It's beautiful how the debris has shaped the erosion. That pipe clamp had a cool effect.

That could be an AC unit?

Looking back at this gallery, that is a very pronounced nipple for a photo op! Might have made for some interesting pictures.

There appears to be a window unit AC in the "room" on the left but that can't be an outside wall. Very strange.
