Nope not bidets. Bidets are lower to the ground and can be used by both male and female. You see them a lot in Europen bathrooms and are used for....cleaning....(use your imagination). . Lived in two places in Italy in the 1990s....every bathroom in both houses had them.

The pattern of the peeling paint is odd - straight across at the top and straight down the middle of one wall and then no peeling at all on the other wall.

Everytime I view a gallery I think it's my favorite. This one is definitely my favorite by any measure. Beautiful, thought provoking, sad, yet inspiring all at the same time. It actually took me three days to view the gallery due to the amount of time spent on each pic and reading the comments. Thank you so very much Mr Motts!!!!

So, if the cabinet door and/or chair fall.....will they make a sound (like a tree falling in the woods with no one to hear).....except maybe any spirits?

Wow, this building is much too beautiful to be abandoned. What a shame it wasn't repurposed for something other use.

The slant in the ceiling (to the right) of the next room somewhat parallels the slant at the top of the door...this perspective is really playing with my brain.
