WOW! thanks, Lynne! you can see a lot in that old shot that is no longer here, ex the tall needle on the very top of the clock tower. how beautiful...

J.R. knows it!

but I can't think of any song for this place. too splendid. in this pic it almost looks as if it is still alive. I can almost see the grime and wear of time just fade away into its former glory... not that it isn't beautiful in near shambles as well!

that begs the question though... any historical pics of this place?

even if you could come here everyday, you would be in for a rude awakening. byberry was slowly but surely being demolished recently and now I'm pretty sure the whole place is gone.

if they called this building plain, I'd love to see what they call ornate! this place makes a lot of hospitals I know look like cardboard boxes!

if you plan on making any of these wallpaper, my vote goes to this one! what a shot!

just when I thought your photography couldn't get any better, you go and pull these pics off! you never cease to blow me away, Motts!

this is my all time favorite gallery, hands down. I don't think a single set of pictures has ever left me more awestruck. I know it's an older gallery, but I must thank you all the same, for showing me the greatest picturesof the most exceptional place I've seen so far.

oh good god Motts, now THAT was certainly unexpected! I can't stop laughing!

nevermore, you're just SCREAMING out for Lynne here, aren't you. -_-; surely, I hope that was supposed to be funny...

if you want my opinion, the room seems rather ornate, yet tacky... but welcoming all the same. I wouldn't mind being in a room like this one if I had to spend my days in a mental hospital. its better than no decorations at all!

*gasp* Lynne, you don't say!! you threw the baby patients at the walls again, didn't you? DIDNT YOU!? :'(

oh, the inhumanity!! ; )

tsk tsk Felyne, you been hittin the catnip bag again? do I need to stuff you in the cage too? ; )

on second thought, the chimney looks like a better idea. looks pretty dang cozy, eh? but question... I dont recall anyone going up a chimney in hansel and gretel. I remember they shoved the witch in the oven... is that thing really an oven? that doesnt look like witch's feet either. wow, I'm spending waaaaay too much time trying to figure out this pic lol
