I just discovered this, great pictures, thanks to whoever posted them and for the comments. My Dad was a projectionist for many years running machines just like these. He used to talk about selling the copper drippings from the arc lamps as scrap metal; I have a small bag with maybe a couple pounds of them. Anybody know if these drippings were in fact all or mostly all copper?

Reminds me of something from a Submachine game.

I work for a company in pennsylvania that builds only church furnature and fixtures. We've done several jobs that have had wood work like this but its expensive. Some churches will pay up to a half a million dollars for this kind of craftmanship

Well the floor must be in good shape because thoes tubs are friggin heavy! I had to move one down a flight of steps once.

I own a Can-O-Mat that was made by the same company called Revall. It is a hand opporated can opener that mounted to the wall. It was made some time in the 40s

I drove up to an abandonded hotel once to look around, as soon as I pulled up to the hotel I saw a cop car hidden in the bushes, patroling the area so instead of getting busted for tresspassing I popped the hood to my car and pretended to have engine troubles. The damn thing is he never bothered to see if i needed any help!

I've worked in a funeral home for some time now so its hard for me to be kreeped out by the whole mourge thing.
