What a beautiful shot, Motts! I really love the colours and the ethereal quality of this one - it looks so otherworldly, like a dreamscape, and that sky is just gorgeous. Reminds me a lot of the Northern Lights.

I'd love to be able to take shots even half as fantastic as this one. Great work, dude! :)
"Ffordd Allan" = Way Out

Although they never actually taught Welsh in my old school, I've managed to pick up a few phrases here and there, mostly from bilingual signs... this is one of the very few things I can say in Welsh!

Glad you managed to pay a visit to my country, Motts! Thanks for doing it justice, and for posting your beautiful pictures here for all to see. :)
I think the hazy, dream-like quality of this photograph is simply beautiful. This just might be my favourite from this gallery...
Yeah, this one's beautiful but kind of spooky...
Beautiful room! Sad to see how much it's deteriorated since the time the picture-postcard in that link was taken, though...
Wow... I love that window! The contrast between the daylight and the shadows is excellent and shows the glass patterns off to best effect. Very beautiful indeed.
Now that's a beautiful picture... great job, Motts! :)
Regarding the plug in the grotto, it may be possible that they had a string of Christmas lights out here in December, or maybe some form of lighting for a Nativity scene, though I couldn't say for certain, since I'm not Roman Catholic...
That's so sad... it's a shame they couldn't save it. It's such a waste when people let beautiful historic buildings like this go to rack and ruin.
Gorgeous picture! I love autumn scenes, and this is one of the nicest that I've seen in quite a long time... the colours are just spectacular. :)
The filaments almost look like prehistoric insects trapped inside big lumps of amber... that's a really amazing photo. I wonder how the bulbs got like that?
