Even the basement is lovely.

It would make a fine church. Strange to think they put that much artistic detail into a granary.

What I wouldn't give for the money to buy this place, fix it up and just live there! Or maybe make a nice B&B out of it...

Wouldn't it make a great resort? I love the colors in this picture.

I like them, too. But why did they paint EVERY room and hallway one color halfway up, and another color the rest of the way?

Think about having to walk up and down all those stairs. Whew!

Interesting...The paint is perfect, even though the board that blocks off the exit is mildewed and discolored.

I was thinking the same thing. And the "checkerboard" doesn't go with the rest of the building.

I love the light streaming in that door. And that wall looks like it used to be an outside wall. I'd make an inside patio in this room. Add some umbrella tables and lots of potted plants. Presto! Springtime all year round.

It looks more like an amusement park ride.

That roof looks so thick and heavy -- almost oppressive -- and then there are those lovely delicate panes of glass to let in the light. They must have been in constant need of cleaning. From this angle, it doesn't look like a very inviting place to sit.

It looks like a time portal. In the distance, doors and walls are in an advanced state of decrepitude -- and in the foreground, there are those brand new looking black tiles. It looks like you're literally looking into the past.
