This reminds me of a short story called "The Yellow Wallpaper" by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. It's a story about a woman in the 19th centery who is confined to a room because she has temporary nervous depression. The room she's in has ugly yellow wall paper that she becomes obsessed with and begins seeing a woman in the paper. I think if I was in a room with that color I wouldn't want to look at anything yellow ever again.

surprizing finds when I stop to remember what this building was. Such stark difference from the wheelchair in the basement and vastly distant from the isolation wards....

the details here, the stained glass windows, the intricate fireplace. What a spectacular place this once was! Never mind the purpose of the place for a minute, the arcitecture and design is very interesting.

it conveys motion. It kinda caught me off guard, but it is a very cool shot.

ive actually been inside there... I would never wish it upon anyone... it was at night and that place just has alot of bad things still going on inside it. the history on it though is really interesting. If any one gets a chance you should go to the buffalo library and look at the old news paper reals. theres real articles about like how they would burry 3 and 4 people in a coffin and lable it as 1 person to cover the sky rocketing death rate and extreme neglect.

contact your local legislator about opening it for walk through tours and overnighters, also point out it would bring in lots of revenue. Volker hung up on me LOL
