Bottom left corner on the stage. Looks like pieces of one of those older artificial Christmas trees. It's kinda sad looking.

I would be careful sneaking in there. If they catch you, there have been reports of them shooting sand bags at kids. And thos hurt like hell.

WOW. Thank you for such a cool site and such BEAUTIFUL pictures. Agreed, don't take anything but photos....but as far as restoring the building...it would be amazing, but the energy there has got to be so incredibly sad. One more question: did you have any memorable paranormal experiences while shooting?

I have been getting trainings from a guy that use to work at belchertown and the stuff he says that they would do bothered me much. he said that the people that lived there were misdiagnosed and half that some doctors weren't even licenced. i work with one girl that used to live there and she doesn;t like showers because at the belchertown school they showered her with cold water.
I would love to go to this place and check it out. I am certain there are ghosts in there. I love creepy places.

I worked with some of the people that lived here are were moved out to the community. Good folk with issues who doesn't have issues? As a teen this place was the coolest place to sneak into on the weekend! Creepy, old, run down, and great for scaring you friend! I really like the tunnels that echo as you walk. It always sounds like someone is following you. I only have good fun memories of this place and that is how I want to keep it!
