Whoa. Now THIS is a cool bedroom. I would love to have gone through the drawers and look at all the old-fashioned clothing inside!

As for the chamber pot...I sure hope it was clean ha ha.

OOOhhh...I can hear the spiders laughing their butts off at this repellant lol. Not repelling THEM that is for sure.

FINALLY we see some "age" on this house. Everything else has been so darned clean!

Wow...this looks ready to live in for sure!!!
It IS strange that there is no dust? Very curious. I wonder if the other people coming in to take photos cleaned up the dust to make their shots better and clearer? Either that or the dust bunnies and spiders don't like this place...maybe the zombies cleaned it up. :-0

Autoguy...I see you are still fascinated by those zombies ahahahha. Good to know you are still here!

I can imagine guests going down these stairs to join the family for supper. Cool!

Ew to those tissues....wouldn't blow my nose with them lol.

Those blocks are fascinating. A scene right out of the "olden days" for sure!

What was in all those bottles?

This looks like someone just left to go get something in another room! Amazingly well-preserved!

There is a house right across the street from me right now that no one lives in. It just sits. Empty. I think someone lived there years and years ago (we have lived in our house for 9 years and next door to this house for 4 years before that, and I remember there was a time when we first moved to this neighborhood in 2004 that someone actually lived in that house) but now it just sits there. The family DOES come and take care of the property like trim the bushes and mow the grass, but I noticed that just recently, a paper was put on the door, and I was curious to see what it was. It is a notice from the city to pay back taxes...so I have no idea what is going on with that property now. It still looks like it is in good shape and I think the family had done renovations on the inside a few years ago, so we thought someone was moving in. It is so sad because there is one of those stickers in the upper window to alert firemen that there were children living there.

Also I wonder what is in the bottom cabinets of the desk...what interesting items are hidden away in there?

WOW...it looks like someone was just at that desk a moment ago! It does look like one of those "staged" shots that Mr. Motts mentioned, but that doesn't make it any less fantastic. I would LOVE this desk for my computer room!

I wonder what those numbers were for...

Ooooh... I can just imagine sitting in a large comfy chair, reading one of these books as a grandfather clock softly ticked the hours away.

Man...this made me feel nostalgic!

Judging from the cobwebs on the door...I would think it would be safe to say that noone has come through that door in a LONG LONG time. :D

Sorry...being a smarty pants. This is awesome and creepy at the same time!
