This bookcase would be wonderful if it was
fully restored with a working grandfather clock
and stocked with old books.

Beware the evil hands that hide behind these wooden panels
as you walk toward your final fate.

That vacuum cleaner should be in a museum !
Better yet. Turn this building into a museum !
That would be so cool !
The caretakers could live there and be funded by the government.

These small green jars with the thick metal wiring
look like they might have been a jelly jar or a jam jar.
They have the same look as a mason jar.
But the only thing is that these green jars are a little too
small for any practical use in the storing of food for the
winter months. I wonder how old these jars are....

Comparing this bedspread to the one in the next photo, on the small sleigh bed, it looks too clean to have been there for 50+ years. It looks too out of place.

Nice catch Tony. Single speeds don't usually have brakes anyways. :)

Eldo look for the subject line to say "Opacity"

Seeing Kubberud's post, I looked back. There ARE 3 cables. The brake one on the left side of the handlebars goes right to the front tire. The right brake goes down the middle bar to the back tire. Then there is a cable on the middle bar (probably where the shift lever is) that goes down along the frame past the large gear, and towards the back tire.
I had a 3 speed when I was a kid that had the gears in the hub of the back tire...I guess that is where the gears are on this bike....

@ flushed..I saw on another gallery where I asked you to email me and you said you did twice but I didn't reply...I'm so sorry. I don't think I ever got your email. Today I went back through hundreds and hundreds of emails, spam and junk and I couldn't find anything. Would you mind trying again and I will look for it. My email is my name, I have another email but I don't know if that's allowed here or not. Please try again and I'll make sure I look for it. Thanks!

What was written on those postcards? Any idea anyone? I can't understand a word of it.

This stuff (furniture and belongings included) belong in a museum for sure.
