I'm thinking he was shooting mounted with a long shutter time, specifically to get this effect. Static objects come out extra sharp, things that move are blurred- giving this an almost animated effect. The infrared is nice as well.
So lofty light gallant. Love this gallery.
The visitors were pick-nicking and burning big purple gothic candles and then poured some melted wax...? ? ?

Thank You for the beautiful gallery Motts!
Awesome
I hope they can find where it belongs.
Thats quite intentional einafets, they are designed by men. Enough said.
The foliage creeping up adds to Father Time. Is it just me, or is it tempting any else to put birdseed in the hand?
Oh yes, I love cemeteries. Thanks Motts.
Yes, precious.
So flimsy weedy wispy the delicate foilage and then the hard pointed smooth strong obelisk:
becomes a favorite picture.

Yup, even though the area was far away enough from Philadelphia to be in a different town, the city expanded so much over the years that it eventually encompassed Kingseeing Township and built homes up all around the cemetery.
I really like this picture!
I was thinking the same thing, Darlene. Is the cemetery surrounded by homes now?
