There was a severe fire? From the looks of the outside it doesn't look like the fire was that severe. And from the great photos following I'm not seeing much in the way of fire or smoke damage. Colors still vibrant. Books still look usable. Too bad. Really nice building neglected.

I HAVE BEEN looking at Motts' awesome photography all morning!
Great shot of the lightning bolt Motts. I never seem to grow tired of weather phenomena especially that. Also, the colors in the clouds are so neat.

I wonder what was on those slides? I used to love being picked to run the slide projector for class.

It looks like a quick sweep with broom or two and then you could put on a show.. pianos ready to go!

That door is unique, it looks like it has a chalkboard section on one side & maybe a normal "wall" section on the other side?

You know, frogs have more lives than cats do, seeing how they croak every night.

Wow, what a sight this must've been in person.

You can just make out "first man on the moon" on the chalkboard.

Yeah, this room is packed.
Kinda creepy and ominous looking. Maybe the community considered it an eyesore.

Thanks for another great school gallery Motts. Something about old schools that are shuttered that just pulls me in.
I love this shot. It shows how solid this building once was.
