What's really gross is to think what is under that grease shield on top of the fryers. When all the grease/oil rose with the water, the fry vats would have filled with water. As the room level came back down, the grease formed a layer on top of the water sealing it in.

True that this would have happened in any restaurant, but most would have been restored or demo'd long before now.

That was some storm.

Ferris Wheels are my 2nd favorite ride. Rollar Coasters are my favorite ride. I like amusement rides that get my endorphins going 'naturally'! : ))

I really like the paint jobs on the cars. They still look all bright...not faded and worn out.

I really like different pastel colors at an amusement park, but loads of rust...not so much. It makes me sad.

Gee Whiz! When I first saw this photo and your name for it, Motts, I thought for sure it was an attraction! Then I read it was an over-glorified restroom entrance! What a joke! I wonder if the people who got to visit the amusement park when it was open thought that restroom building was a bit over-the-top too! BYW, great picture of it.

Even tho I love to ride rollar coasters, I would have taken the stairs too, Motts, to get this shot. Especially if I were holding an expensive camera & lens in my hands! : ) Anyway, nice photo!
