This is a testament to the current state of theme parks, they are not economically viable. Six Flaggs is on life support on a good day, this disaster gave them a good excuse to dump this park and maybe collect some insurance money, and if another company thought this was worth the $ to fix, they would. Still, sad- think of all the people that designed, built, maintained and staffed this park...

These pictures made me sadder and more mournful than some of the Galleries of Asylums, as this abandoned ruined Amusement Park was made for enjoyment, fun + pleasure; the hospitals were not. Big loss to New Orleans.
So there is no Amusement Park there anymore?
