That hit the spot there motts im from biloxi ms which is 45 min away from n.o. and I got family there we use to go to jazzland every so often I went twice whennit was 6lags it was pretty much the same to me its a shame how katrina tore the whole gulfcoast /n.o. apart it was unbelievable motts something u see in movies it was like a ghost town over there....u should come to the Ms gulfcoast we got abandoned history here too God bless and have a good day

It's actually surprising that they got any rides out. All of the electronics would have been destroyed by the water and if there was any chance of corrosion or other damage to the ride structure, the future liability would have been too great.
