Elizabeth you should do a little more research before you make comments like that. Obviously you are not from NY. You would know Pilgrim is not in Dix Hills and you would know that Dix Hills is a very Rich area. On a different note anyone with any experiences of Pilgrim please email me at hopefull_destiny@yahoo.com thank you

My mother was in this hospital when I was a young child in the 60's. I lived in North Babylon which isn't far away but never knew how close my mother really was or that she was in the hospital. My grandmother spent 20 years in Kings Park. At varies times in my teens I would visit my husband's aunt that lived in Deer Park and would always feel an uneasiness. Today I work in mental health as an advocate, and many times I am on the grounds there because OMH has their feild office there in building 45. I have also been in building 102 which has been restored to a great degree. Federation of Organizations has restored one of the buildings and it is really beautiful, both in and outside.

I worked for a Sewer and Storm Pipe inspection company and I worked in Pilgrim State numerous times in a 3 year span. I have been in most of the abandoned out buildings and I've also been in Pilgrims extensive sewer system underneath it and I never experienced any paranormal activity or anything out of the norm. The only thing I've seen there was rats, bats and roaches the size of ash trays and the occasional crazy person but no ghosts. This was back in the late '90's
