I remember bringing Pt.s here & having to put them into the "fridge". Saw my very first Autopsy just by chance walking past, the door was open. There was a room across from this room that held all kinds of jars with "Parts" in them. Fetues' from there earlier yr abortions. Things they took out of patients stomachs.Tape worms.etc. Wonder what ever happened to them?

I know Exactly where this is! (Now that's scary!) My Aunt worked in the X-Ray Dept. for over 20 yrs. in Bldg 25...

The tub felt cold because stainless steel has a very high thermal conductivity, so that when something hot (you) touch it, the heat is conducted away from you (i.e. it feels cold).

Air is an insulator; it has a low thermal conductivity. Things like feathers trap air, making down warm. If the air was trapped in the room and not moving, it would feel warm.

There is absolutely nothing supernatural about a cold feeling steel object in a warm feeling room.

i got past the asylum security but LongIslands finest went out of their way to drag me and my girl outta the building. spent a whole night at the precint just to get a $200 ticket and a court date. fcuk da police!!

I went their with some friends and walked all around the first floor but i didnt see anything freaky except for the cops waiting for me at the front door. According to the officer who arrested us, they constantly bag kids for trespassing. He also told us that he made this kid piss himself because he patrols the building sometimes without a flash light. Probably bull.

Theirs nothing haunting about the building, i actually walked through out one of the abandoned buildings( the one with the 2 big trees by the door) with some friends and the only haunting thing inside was the police officer who arrested us for tresspassing. But yeah you should definitely check it out from the outside at night , its freaky

I remember riding up the Sagtikos Pkwy as a kid in the early-mid 90s and seeing these enormous stacks.

Actually more likely exhaust fans used to push the smoke out of the boiler / stack.

Many of the buildings have that same blackend color. I don't know why it is but the smell in these places is something you don't soon forget.

When u accucly see these buildings up close on the newer buildings you can see the jump nets posted out on the side of the building to catch the ppl.
