i have been in and out of these buildings for a long time . And i still ride my dirt bike on the land . A word to the wise , If you think you can just go in look around , come out and get a pepsi , YOUR DEAD WRONG ! This place is very very very unsafe to be in . Open walls to no floors on the other side ,glass , sharp metal, and the bird poop is very toxic when dusty. The tunnels that go to each building under ground are easy to get lost in . And one last thing , the state has been instaling motion detectors and cameras in some parts of the buildings but not all of them . You might say im full of it .Theres no power wright ? That part is true [the power that is ] Things to day are wireless that can transmit up to a half mile , and the batteries in these things can last a year or so . If they catch you in there you are effed . No PBA card is going to work here . I`ve had a few run ins with the P.D. and the the only things that saved me was my background [line of work] and the grace of god . If you go in , two or people is a must , flash lights and lots of batteries , gloves , and dont put your hands in you mouth [ wash them well ] its all lead paint , and its everyware , lots of luck , Oisin Kelleher #512
I don't remember seeing this on the set of "Dr. Quincy, Medical Examiner" or whatever it was called, starring Jack Klugman. We used to just call it Quincy
The quote represents a quiet reverence for the dead, and commends them for helping medical science to do great things for the living (curing diseases, preventing similar causes of death, etc). Those are the intentions of the medical examiner and the hospital. No patients would enter the autopsy room unless they were dead... the "evil hospital" theory is a bit of a stretch!
Such a morbid thing to see, sometimes i wonder what the hospitals intensions were of the patients. This certainly could not promote a heathly well being. Maybe they wanted to keep them insaine so that they could warrant more funding from the government, lol.
I was paid to go up and over there. let me tell u a thing or to bout being scared shitless. It is about 9 feet , but if u were up there shaking, it was ice cold, remembering your in an asylum, then about 20 pigeons come fling at you and u fell, I think you would have a different opinion on how much 9 feet is.
