Maybe someone sold them too many doors ??
Woops, I asked too soon...lol
Apparently there was a great banister heist at some time at this location. I've never seen anything like it. Motts, did you find ANY banisters anywhere?? lol

Opening on the right wall looks kinda stange, can't figure out if it is boarded up or just a recess in the wall??
If I had to pick a color for a room in this place, of all I have seen this is probably the best...it's very relaxing to me, even though it's yellow. It could have something to do with the soft sunlight, too, but the color is pleasing enough in itself. The 'pepto' pink or the lizard green would get really irritating and old after a very short time, I would think. It seems like this yellow would be a color that would be used in private homes, not institutions or hospitals. I understand the color therapy thing, but the pinks and greens seem like something you could buy by the 5 gallon barrels at discount rate because they are pretty undesirable to use in such quantities...lol

Kinda like an old barn door??
How many times have I lamented on here they don't build things like this anymore?? Wow, this is neat. Looks pretty strong still, too. Nowadays, you can drive to the store and pass an empty lot on the way, and they'll have a building built on it by the time you're going home. Well, not LITERALLY that fast, but everything's so crapped together too fast for architecture like this.
Such a strange building. These stairs really un-nerve me without any kind of banister or railing. If you fell, you would probably go far.
Looks like a zipper..lol

Well...open the door and find...BRICKS, just like in the cartoons!
LOL good because I am so chicken lol.

I really would love to explore like this but I don't have the backbone! I remember DH took me through an old abandoned train tunnel near where we are living and after the first few feet of the tunnel, it got PITCH black! I think we had a flashlight, but it was still terrifying! :D
HAHAHA! YES! Another veteran of the Park Lissbeth! We live only about 2-1/2 hours away from Hershey. We have spent many many many summer days there. I love the smell of the chocolate tour! MMMmmm!

Gosh this picture makes me want to go there!
What a room. BIG!
