It looks like that old linoleum...you know, the stiff stuff that had a black back on it...the old timers called it inlaid...

Oy...those gotta be 15' ceilings. Who measured, cut, spaced, placed, and grouted all those tiles? Is there anybody that exists anymore that has that kind of work ethic and skill?

I guess I am...Maybe an older nun or ranking clergy didn't want to be seen not walking so they just put 'em in the chair...kinda like a dignity issue?

So Pegasus, you're saying it's a Rockin' Roll chair?

*rocks out*
..I will be embarassed if that's lino....
...lol...just read the comment about the chair facing the fireplace waiting for it's "friend" to come back......he he....anthropomorphism at it's finest......;-)
Beautiful parquet!! Again, a shame that this kind of workmanship is left to rot.
Thank you for the wallpaper! This is really nice. The right edge of theleft-hand side door appears to have a "post" attached to it, and the right door doesn't....oh, wait......nevermind. Maybe that door was meant to be closed first, then the other one closed "into" the inside edge of it (the closet doors in my (old) house are like that)....Hmmm.
