TAKE ME!

Radical Ed, I don't think I've ever since in Northeast Philly. Only South Philly and Center City. Somewhere around here there is a picture of me posed against the 'LOVE' monument. A friend of mine knows the way to Byberry, and it sounded quite easy. Maybe others would be interested as well, and we could get a group together.

Motts,

That's great - I have the same ranking! Any time I show "outsiders" pix of this place, those are the galleries I go to, and I haven't had anyone come away disappointed yet. :-)

Whenever you redo this site, mebbe you could pick a site that allows only registered users to comment and then perhaps you could allow the registered users a chance to rank the photos as well. That would keep you from having to cruise the comments all the time to pull off the weirdo comments. Well, except for OUR weirdo comments, of course. ;-)

Puddleboy, if you want a tour that's easy on the body and comprehensively complete, I'll take you through bro. It's much cooler in person and you can take your OWN amazing pictures. You're what, an hour away, tops?

Very hard to pick a single favorite, but since I've been through the Byberry photos three times, then I shall place my vote there.

Gravesend is definately up there in my favorites!
I know you have your vacation photos to finish up. I can't wait to see the Michigan ones. The Ypsi scared me when I was a kid and it was still open, and the MCD has always fascinated me.
I'm just sorry that DHCO in Northville was demolished before you could see it.
Anyway. I'll wait patiently.

Grifs- You are absolutely right. There isn't a location or a gallery that doesn't fascinate me. I just can't pick a single favorite.

Hey Motts- Which of these is your absolute favorite?

Go to the extras section, there is the greatest hits section of Motts' pictures, along with my favorite shots: the panorama pics.

Of course, I like the lonely chair shots. But it realy is hard to choose a favorite out of the collection.

Come on, girls, you know it's the "lonely chair" shots that you love the most.

Lynne, this a prime example of the copper that gets stripped out of these buildings.
Scavengers tear up the walls to get the copper to recycle.
