I realize this is late to the party, but that's probably a water pressure regulator rather than a thermostat. Copper pipes are almost exclusively used for potable water. JFYI.

I found a Gone With The Wind biography in this room, which i kept and read. I was alone and only had a cellphone to light my way through the darkness. Creepy place indeed.
Spent 2 weeks at the summer camp that they ran there, in 1954. Lot's of great memories. I Remember Brother Joe, Jerry Dyckman, The Napoletano brothers Anthony & Ralph.

I am obsessed with this school and I am obsessed with the little boy, Paul Ramos Jr, who jumped off of the third story roof of the dormitories on August 9th 1963 or 1964, when he was attending summercamp there. If you know anything about the old dorms or have pictures of them, or know where they were located on the grounds, can you please email me at sarahjamesonalbrecht@hotmail.com.

I'm dying to know why I feel the way I feel about this school. Before I knew the story or knew it was haunted, from the very first time I saw it, I was intrigued by it. I don't know why, maybe it was just the huge gates enclosing it. But now that it's open to the public, I can't even bring myself or my friends to drive more than a few seconds up the driveway. Please help.

No it's more of a hole in the wall with what appears to be a statue,of course I could be wrong and it could be something paranormal
Would be fabulous as wallpaper. Great shot.

When inside, your hear noises but ive been with groups of people and we all hear them too.. Im curious about why Salesian is haunted, you would too if you write on a chalkboard leave a room, go back to that room and the chalkboard was erased.

Hey matt so have you been there recently? I was there saturday, and I've been doing nothing but researching this place since. Have you stayed there at night alone? I have a friend who has been inside, and he says particularly the second floor is haunted, Also the window on the third floor in the left wing with the curtain that it is always blowing even if there is no breeze. I would love to hear your prospectives as I believe there is much much more to this site than is being talked about. Some more interesting info I found about this property was that It was one of the northern most spots for the underground railroad, along with other things!
